Tidbit to Ponder: World Languages Disappearing

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organzation (UNESCO) said that more than half of the world's 6,000 languages are in danger of disappearing. UNESCO said one language disappears on average every two weeks. In addition, only 10 percent of the world's language are represented on the Internet. (China Daily Feb.23 2006)
